ABOUT US
Why Us?
The Forensic Practice is dedicated to training individuals and organizations to build safer communities. We integrate the latest research with best practice standards and adult learning principles to develop effective and engaging workshops with several practical exercises. One way we do this is by teaching the StepWise 360 approach in our forensic interviewing training workshops.
StepWise 360: Trusted Training for Forensic Interviewers
Approved by the National Children’s Alliance for forensic interviewers working in child and youth advocacy centers, StepWise 360 is a recognized method for interviewing children and adults after trauma or abuse. Our workshops train police officers, social workers, and professionals who oversee interviews in legal settings to conduct successful investigative interviews across various and diverse contexts.
Key Reasons to Choose The Forensic Practice
- Authority: We are the sole source for teaching the Stepwise 360 approach to organizations and individuals.
- Flexibility: We offer instructor-led workshops in-person and virtually, and eCourses that can be completed at your own pace.
- Turnover Reduction: Our training equips employees to handle difficult cases, which reduces stress, burnout, and turnover.
- Skill Development: Our workshops focus on building effective and practical skills so that organizations retain skilled, capable staff. When staff make fewer errors, communities are safeguarded and organizations are less exposed to complaints and lawsuits.
- Where Research Meets Practice: We continuously update our training programs based on the latest research and best practices standards, ensuring that organizations are taught evidence-based methods that will hold up to the scrutiny of the courts and public inquiry.
